The carnation apple is a deep-rooted tradition in Kurdish culture, representing love, peace and reconciliation. This tradition, which has been kept alive since the past in geographies such as Mukriyan and Erdelan, where Kurds live in Iran, and the Germiyan Region near Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, still exists in many regions today.
