The meaning and historical origin of Newroz

According to the legend; While the cruel Dehak ruled the people with oppression, Kawa the Blacksmith rebelled against this oppression and saved the people.

A new day, “Newroz”, began with this resistance of Kawa. This day has been seen as a symbol of the struggle for freedom by the Kurdish people for thousands of years.
