Maruf Yüce is a 27-year-old musician born in Cizre. Yüce, who migrated to Gaziantep with his family when he was only one year old, has been living in this city for 26 years.

Yüce, whose interest in music and art began at a young age, has managed to turn this interest into a professional artistic journey over time.

Maruf Yüce had his first stage experiences at the Mesopotamia Cultural Center (MKM) operating in Gaziantep.

Yüce, who focused on his education after the closure of MKM, received music education at the Conservatory Department of Gaziantep University.

This process greatly contributed to his technical and artistic development.

On stage with Hayal Band

Maruf Yüce, who did not take a break from his musical studies after his education, occasionally takes the stage with the band called “Hayal Band”.

The band creates an original style by blending ethnic, jazz and classical music with Kurdish music.

Yüce, who says, “Culture and art are the nails of the soul. Without that nail, a person falls apart,” defines music not only as a branch of art, but also as a way of life and an element of spiritual balance.
