The Kevi Project: A new voice carrying the Dengbej tradition into the future

Kevi is a contemporary music project established to preserve and carry the dengbej tradition, one of the most deeply rooted legacies of Kurdish oral culture, into the future. Formed by Bangevaz Çağrı Koç, İbrahim Konaç, and Dengbej Abdurrahman Cizîrî, Kevi aims to bring dengbej melodies, particularly those from the Botan region, to younger generations by blending them with music.

Meaningful event from Mordem Sanat: Narrative Tradition from Yesterday to Today
