April 23, 2025The publication of the Kurds of Central Anatolia: Bîrnebûn magazine
Bîrnebûn Magazine, which deeply researches and documents the cultural memory of the Kurds of Central Anatolia, was founded in 1997 by a group of Kurdish intellectuals living in Germany.
The first issue of the magazine was published in Germany, and from the second issue onwards it continues to be published in Sweden with the support of Apec Publishing House.
On the Trail of an Undocumented Memory
Bîrnebûn stands out not only as a publication, but also as a research archive that traces historical information that has been ignored or not written down.
